My goal was to create a plain but playful-looking logo, which will work well as a horizontal logo for their website, monochromatic sign for stencils and frugal hand printed labels, as well as a full-colour logo for glossy printed catalogues, leaflets and business cards.
The main idea was to create a funny graphic symbol, which is easily recognisable, even as a small icon (favicon) or a black stamp on an invoice.
A positively looking character, reminder of joy and comfort - not only for parents but mainly kids.
To convey the tenderness, warmth and mainly - the playfulness, I've chosen the happy baby elephant, who constantly keeps his trumpet up in a cheerful state!
The logo was drawn by hand, which is my favourite method of work and then redrawn as a vector graphic .
I tried to create a soft looking icon, which together with the playful customised lettering and limited by 5 basic colours makes a clear sign. It shall be eye catching and an easily memorable brand mark.
Dozens of sketches, doodling and free hand drawings of all kinds of animals, toys and kids - friendly objects and creatures ;o]
